A long and beautiful beach been located in Funauki.  From the edge of the village, there is a short path to cross over Funauki Peninsula, you can get to Ida Beach through this for about 10 minutes walking.  Here, we seldom see tourists, being an appropriate place to be relax.
Although there is no coral reef offshore from this beach, hidden rocks with many corals and fishes are distributed everywhere, being appropriate for snorkeling.  The pictures shown below are taken by the Web master during snorkeling around offshore of Ida Beach on Sept. 25, 2003.  You can enjoy such beautiful views when swim somewhat towards offshore from the surf line.  It may be the very place of a real find.
